Claim details and conditions
Measured from the tire bridge or having more than 30% rubber content , measured from the tire bridge and compared with new tires of the same model and size as sent for inspection.
Warranty conditions
1. The warranty period for manufacturing defects is 5 years from the year of manufacture only or if the rubber content is more than 1.6 mm.
2. The manufacturer of the product guarantee reserves the right to determine the meaning and definition of various technical terms in this product quality guarantee.
3. Products sent for inspection will be separated for each case. For example, if a tire has a problem with both the front and rear tires, the front and rear tires will be sent for separate claims.
4. In considering the nature of product defects, including discretion in deciding on various warranty conditions.
In all matters relating to the products, it shall be deemed that the inspectors of PWR Power Co., Ltd. are authorized to proceed and such consideration shall be deemed final.
5. The Company reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the product manufacturing defect warranty without prior notice.
Tires under company warranty
• Tires that come with the vehicle from the factory, such as Ducati, MV Augusta, Aprilia, BMW, etc.
• Tires for vehicles with a capacity of 500cc or more
• Tires for vehicles with a capacity of 100 – 400cc imported by the company
• Tires with DOT (Department of Transport) markings
• Tires that have a reasonable remaining lifespan for the warranty (more than 1.6 mm of rubber remaining from the bridge surface in the tread groove)
• Tires that have not been damaged by accidents or have been repaired, steamed, or patched.
• Tires that are used normally mean tires that are used normally, not tires that are put on a parked car or stored for a long time.
Even accidents that damage tires
The warranty does not cover the following damages or wear and tear:
• Vehicles registered or used outside of Thailand
• Tires that are installed in a manner that is not in accordance with the motorcycle manufacturer's standards, such as speed standards, weight standards,
Increasing or decreasing the tire size from the factory standard value (can increase or decrease no more than 1 size)
• The installed tires use incompatible front and rear tire structures.
• Tires that are installed incorrectly have damaged wire portions of the tire.
• Tires filled with gases other than nitrogen or air.
• Tires that have been filled with sealant, tire balancing solution, liquid or other substances.
• Tires that have been modified to change the shape of the tire to be different from the original.
• Tires that have been re-engraved with a new pattern or additional grooves
• Tires for racing use such as Diablo Superbike, Diablo Supercorsa SC
• Tires for practice driving on the racetrack or for use in all competitions
• Used tires are measured by the amount of rubber to the tire bridge of less than 1.6 mm (not counting age or distance used).
• Tires damaged by other imperfect motorcycle accessories, such as misaligned, distorted wheels, imperfect brake systems, or imperfect vibration damping systems.
• Tires damaged by flames, corrosive chemicals, punctures, accidents, theft, running over a flat tire, under-inflated or over-inflated tires.
• Tires with cracks or swelling caused by various rubber coatings.
• Tires that are deformed due to improper transportation or storage.
• Tires damaged by foreign objects on the road surface (e.g. nails, glass, metal scraps) or severe punctures, cuts, or impacts.
• Tires with cracks on the tread, sidewall or grooves caused by changes in temperature, sunlight and other external factors.
• Tires that have been installed have not been used for a long time. The rubber has been damaged by sunlight or other external factors.
• Damage from stunt driving
• Tires damaged during towing
• Inner tubes that are older than 60 weeks
• Tires that have been installed and not used for a long time, the rubber has deteriorated and cracked.
The company will approve the claim by
1. Change a new tire for free in case the rubber used does not exceed 0.5 mm for the front tire and does not exceed 1 mm for the rear tire.
2. Change a new line with a fee or receive a discount in case the rubber used exceeds 0.5 mm for the front tire and exceeds 1 mm.
For rear tires, the cost is calculated based on the remaining rubber content compared to a new tire of the same model and size.
Note: The tire that is “claimed” will be the same model and size as the tire that is “brought in for claim”.
The warranty for manufacturing defects in other cases depends on usage, in which case the tire must be sent for examination with photographs.
Or send the tire back for a detailed inspection. The inspection results depend on the discretion of the tire inspector.
** The initial tire inspection process will take approximately 1-2 weeks, with the inspector making a decision based on photographs or
Inspect the condition of the tires sent by the complainant to the company and provide compensation after inspecting the damage.
It is a discount for purchasing the next tire or the next pair. The discount percentage will depend on the age of the tire.
The amount of remaining rubber must not exceed 3 years after installation and must contain more than 1 mm of rubber.
*** In the event that the company cannot find the exact cause of the problem, the company will send the tire to the manufacturer for examination.
And it takes about 6-8 weeks. The inspection results will be as decided by the manufacturer only.
